Why not sponsor this event (tax deductible)

The 24th annual Vilano Bridge Run is on Saturday, March 21 and now is the time to secure your spot as a sponsor. This event will include both the 5k, and highly successful 10k run, over the scenic Vilano Bridge. After the race, the widely-popular “Party in the Park,” is a great opportunity for sponsors to display or sell their products. Last year’s event drew over 700 runners, with almost an equal number of spectators and volunteers. The run was covered by local newspapers and radio. This year we are working to include several television stations to help with advertising our event. The run supports the efforts of North Shores Improvement Association (NSIA), a non-profit organization, as well as this year’s charity—Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. Previous proceeds, after charity contribution, were used to remodel the NSIA Community Center and Firehouse. This resulted in a beautiful facility where we host many programs such as the Art Programs, Church services, Pickleball, Pilates and Yoga. The center includes a community garden, children’s playground, basketball court, tennis courts and a dog park for use by the community. This year, in addition to on-going maintenance, proceeds will help support the many community initiatives of which NSIA is affiliated. One of these initiatives is the development of the Multi- Use Trail targeted to parallel A1A Scenic Highway and the Vilano Action Network, which supports community issues such as flooding, beach restoration etc. This is made possible through your sponsorship. Please consider being part of this valuable service to our community and to the Florida School of Deaf and Blind. For this year’s race we are seeking the promotion and support of a new Title Sponsor, in addition to all levels of sponsorship.

23rd Annual Vilano Bridge Run held March 17, 2019

This year NSIA donated $5000 to the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. The remainder of the funds were used to remodel the Firehouse building, replaced the air conditioner unit and the handicap ramp. Again, we had a record number of runners exceeding 700 runners. The runners, family and friends enjoyed the "Party in the Park", beer, silent auction, games and more! This was made possible through your sponsorship donations and participation.
